They fell short. 28oz short. In the future I should be able to enjoy a gallon of diet dew.

We don't have 7/11 in East Tennessee, so this is all new to me.

There's no one who consumes more soda than me on this website, so as oppos soda problem guy, I gotta ask, how does the second half not taste terribly flat and warm. I can kill 3 liters of soda in a day but I think id end up drinking a cans worth outta this before I deem it too old haha

Lol, I’m sure they’ll come out with it eventually :D

Wait, really? Didn’t know there were still places without 7/11. Interesting.

For the longest time, Buffalo didn’t have 7/11. It wasn’t until, maybe 5 years ago, when they bought up the local convenience store chain

I really don’t see the point of it either quite honestly, but, if someone wants to spend ten bucks on it, I guess more power to ‘em, haha.

Huh. I mean, my town doesn’t have 7/11 either (this one was about 20 mins away), but I live in a small town. Surprised a place as big as Buffalo wouldn’t have one.

There’s a lot of stuff we don’t get, actually. We just got Whole Foods and Sonic this year. Still waiting on Costco and Ikea.

We do, however get Tim Hortons and Wegmans, both of which kick ass. I guess our retail market is kinda weird like that.

That being said, I really, really would like to try Jack in the Box, Hardee’s, Carl Jr’s, White Castle, Whataburger, or In-n-Out. Even if any of tose suck, I still wanna know...

We don't have 7/11s here but I do see people when I get gas in the morning filling up mugs like that. They were always over weight to obese.

I can understand not having Ikea, but Costco? Seriously? That’s pretty incredible.

Tim Hortons rules, no doubt. We here in Michigan have never had Wegmans, though (or at least I don’t think).

We really only have White Castle. Would rather not try Jack In The Box (don’t really wanna die), but the rest I would like to give a shot.

That’s because only in America do people still use the Imperial system. Rest of the world has moved on from ounces.

I live in a college town with another college town close by, and the closest 7-eleven to us is 2 hours away.

This would make a nice coffee mug. I could probably crush the whole thing during my commute to work (100km).

Yeah, oddly enough, we get BJs and Sam’s Club, but alas, no Costco. How’s White Castle, by the way? I’ve always wanted to try it since that Harold and Kumar movie.

Kinja'd!!!0

Yeah, but if you’re in a college town, then there’s probably no shortage of fast food joints and beer-selling convenience stores, which is pretty much all 7/11 is good for. (well, aside from slurpees)

In and out is AMAZING. Jack in the box. Ok. Carl’s junior and Hardee’s are essentially the same thing. Closest IKEA to me is 6 hours away :( (evidentially the Swedish are prejudiced against the Pacific nothwest).

I’m not in a place warm enough to get in-an-out burger, I’ve only been to one once on vacation, but bit was amazing. The big ylthing happening in my city is we are getting a chick-fil-a and Panda Express this fall.

Wait, what the hell is BJ’s? Its amazing that there is such a variety of stores in certain locations.

Not bad, in my opinion. I wouldn’t call it amazing, but its good for late night cravings. And its WAY better than McDonald’s or anything like that. Halo Burger will always be my favorite fast food joint, though. They’re the shit.

I’m really not a morning person so I’m very edgy. Or so my wife says anyways.

Pair that with the horrible drivers of Ontario and I could see myself drinking the whole thing.

I’m basically an old man when I get up in the morning. I’m not an asshole or nothing like that, just easily irritated.

Once I'm awake though, I'm quite calm and content.

BJ’s is just a wholesale warehouse type place (in a similar vein to Costco). Funny enough, people in my susburb like to make jokes about how BJs and Dick’s (sporting goods) are located next to each other in the same strip mall. If you google the two together the first image is of the exact place:

My brother-in-law used to have one of these ever-present. He drove trains, so he’d have to carry whatever food/drink he wanted with him for the day. He stopped needing the massive amounts of sugar and caffeine to stay awake, after he was diagnosed with sleep apnea and got that treated.

Personally, I can’t drink more than 12 oz of soda before it gets warm and flat.

Yeah, I gotcha. I’m kinda the same way, but I’m usually wide awake after a shower and such. Coffee always helps to keep the day going smoothly, though.

Yeah, my day usually isn’t too bad either. I enjoy my job and my co-workers aren’t too bad, for the most part. Its just when impossible deadlines arise, customers are unhappy, and salesmen are needy that coffee is nice.

Kinja'd!!! AM > Tuned-Port-Injected-Rage
08/10/2015 at 00:20

Kinja'd!!!0

I agree. The people that I’m in charge of are very needy, as are the people my co-worker Brad (other supervisor) is in charge of. We basically babysit all day because a select few can’t do their jobs without help. Coffee is nice for that.

Thanks for the translation. I thought 100 oz had something to do with Australians or Ozzy Osbourne. Americans use weird and counter intuitive measurement units.
